Podgorica - The
United Nations (UN) mission on Prevlaka will not be necessary after
Yugoslavia and Croatia reach temporary agreement - the Prime
Minister of Montenegro said to Radio Free Europe.
The President of the
Montenegrin Border Commission, Nebojsa Vucinic, said that the UN
Prevlaka mandate should last until intermediate solution for the
"blue zone" was co-ordinated, but also for certain period
of time after this co-ordination, and added that for Montenegro the
land border was not disputable.
Media from Podgorica
published the statement of the political adviser in the monitoring
mission on Prevlaka, Richard Calver, who said that the UN did not
participate in the negotiations, but were following the event and
expected the decision of the Security Council, after the agreement
of Zagreb and Podgorica.
